Discipleship is a thought process. A mentality. It’s not a style of living as much as it is a filter for how we think about life.

Only as a result of this does it becomes an activity. Something we can measure, and in certain cases, turn into systems.

But these activities are results. If we start here, we become plastic and tired. And, in the long run, it doesn’t stick.

But if we begin thinking about discipleship as a quality of life, we begin to see our own unique role in it. And with that comes energy and excitement and joy.

Something, almost all would argue, we are better for.
